Additive manufacturing

Additive manufacturing (3D printing) is a fast-growing technology, adapted to our production rates. We are focusing our work on two areas of study to increase the Technical Operational Availability (TOA) of our armored vehicles.

Since 2019, Arquus has been mobilizing 3D printing to produce not only polymer but also metal replacement parts, with the goals of:

  • Shorten supply times and increase vehicle DTO
  • Respond to supply chain failures (obsolescence)
  • Reduce the stock of parts in OPEX
  • Optimize PR and tooling performance (weight, functionalized, number of parts...)
