As robots are essential links in high-intensity conflicts, Arquus is presenting the DRAILER prototype. This robot, designed by Arquus, is based on the high-mobility robots used by the armed forces. A specialist in survivability and mobility, Arquus has always been committed to soldier projection.
The DRAILER: Arquus' new prototype for Eurosatory 2024 alongside the SCARABEE.
Keeping soldiers out of harm's way and accompanying them on missions using robotized vehicles is one of the challenges that Arquus has been working on for several years (notably the SCARABEE automation initiative).
A real support system for ground troops, the DRAILER can also be used for remote operations.
DRAILER missions
DRAILER prototype produced by Arquus
The DRAILER is a versatile tactical robotic platform, adaptable to different types of mission thanks to its 4-wheel drive and steering, and independent wheel suspension. This robot will be a real support for infantrymen thanks to its armament capabilities (integration of a HORNET turret) and its modular platform (2450*1600) enabling it to carry 700 kilos of payload.
It can also be used for other missions, such as direct or indirect fire support, electronic warfare, route opening, anti-drone warfare or radio relay. Its hybrid-electric propulsion ensures discreet mobility, with a range of up to 100km at 20kmh, and a maximum road speed of 40km/h.
Easily deployable, the DRAILER can be towed by any type of vehicle, offering an optimum solution for military operations.
