The Tour de Corse sailing race is an opportunity for the wounded to meet civil authorities and ex-servicemen associations during the voyage. It is a privileged moment of exchange between the soldiers and the associations, the corporations and businesses engaging in the support of the war-wounded.
This year, ARQUUS is again stepping up as part of LA VOILE POUR SE RECONSTRUIRE. The company is demonstrating its support for those injured at war and their families by sponsoring one of the association's boats.
As a partner of the ASSOCIATION POUR LE DÉVELOPPEMENT DES ŒUVRES D'ENTRAIDE DANS L'ARMÉE (ADO), ARQUUS is continually reaffirming its support of mutual assistance within the Defence industry. The Defence social policy is an essential pillar of the ARQUUS RSE POLICY, along with reflection on Defence, training and citizenship.
ARQUUS' commitment is demonstrable in particular through the support of activities such as the reintegration of the war-wounded through sports, such as the Rencontres Militaires Blessures et Sports event held annually in June.
ARQUUS is also committed to the return to civilian life of those injured in service through the employment of military personnel injured during operations within the framework of the Omega scheme, which allows the company to provide support to those previously injured along every step of the way and to lead them to optimal professional rehabilitation.
Finally, ARQUUS created the ASSOCIATION 1PAR1 to support the schooling of orphan children whose families live below the poverty line.
The association is next scheduled to board in July 2019 in the Morbihan department. In 2019, more than one hundred injured, war widows and orphans will have been able to board the sailboats of the Voile Pour Se Reconstruire scheme.
