The engineers from the Trucks center then presented General BOSSER with Volvo’s latest breakthroughs in the fields of automation, electro-mobility, connectivity and autonomy.
Specifically, General BOSSER discovered the Group’s latest prototypes, including Volvo Trucks’ VERA, an autonomous electrical load carrier, and electrical load carrier HX2 by Volvo Construction Equipment. Last, the Chief of Staff could drive and test various vehicles from the Volvo Group (in particular FH and FMX) on the trial trails.
Emmanuel LEVACHER, ARQUUS’ President, presented General BOSSER with the company’s capabilities, as well as the latest innovations in the field of protected land mobility. As a technical summary, the President demonstrated the Scarabee concept, actual concentrate of all technological packages developed by ARQUUS’ engineers. This vehicle, proud heir to ARQUUS’ light armored vehicles, combines innovative suspensions, all-ground mobility, hybrid propulsion, single electronics network, and HUMS capability to ease all maintenance operations.
