ARQUUS signed a partnership agreement with the Musée de l'Armée on 26 February 2020 to support its heritage initiatives.
The mission of the Musée de l'Armée, under the supervision of France’s Ministry of the Armed Forces, is to bring its visitors a better knowledge of France's military history.
This partnership will take the form of support from ARQUUS for an exhibition of photographs by reporter Philippe de Poulpiquet, entitled “Invalides: Mémoires de Guerre”. It will be presented by the Musée de l'Armée from 19 September as part of the 350th anniversary of the foundation of Les Invalides, and will focus on its hospital function.
The Institution Nationale des Invalides (INI) accommodates up to ninety-one wounded and disabled war veterans – all having served during conflicts in which the French Army has been involved. These people are cared for by a team of four hundred and thirty staff in premises which meet the standards of the most modern hospitals.
